Sometimes I wonder who still read this crap I post on my xanga. Anyways, for those who do, I've been keeping myself busy lately. Went to NY for a week for business, our company received another outstanding sales award for the year 2006. You know what's funny? I've been to NY a few times now, and I still haven't been able to go sight seeing. The only time I was able to see the empire state building was on my way to JFK airport LOL. Oh well, maybe next time I'll have the chance to see it up close. So I just got back from my Hawaii trip last week, and I can't help but wanting to go back there again! Hope the next time I won't be traveling with my dad and a co-worker from China. Regardless, I had a great time there. I went scubba diving for my first time and got certified! Some of the skill tests were damn hard (ie: putting on the gear in water, and taking off the mask completely and putting it back on). The water in Hanuama bay was damn beautiful, and the marine life there were amazing. I was able to swim with sea turtles and played with octopus. The night life in Waikiki was one of its kind. There's clubs everywhere, and the girls are damn hot! The only thing that tripped me out was the amount of Japanese people there. You will find them everywhere except at Pearl Harbor. Anyways, enough said, here are some pictures I took during my stay in Hawaii.
This is the view from my room in the Sheraton Hotel
The beginning of the Manoa Fall trail (hiking in the rain forest was awesome)
Midway of the hike, the rain forest turned into a bamboo forest
Manoa Fall, I was expecting a lot more water
Pearl Harbor, The white structure was the USS Arizona memorial.
The best place to shop and to scout girls LOL
The cutest local hawaiian girl I saw, happens to work at our hotel LOL.
Dare me to jump?
This view is from the top of Makupu Light house trail (2 miles of scorching hot walk with no shades) But the view was worth it.
Kahmehameha!
Swimming with the turtles!
WHOOT, I'm a certified open water diver!
Dancing monk seal!
I was too scared to play with the Octopus! Wouldn't you be scared too seeing that thing approaching you? |
